Client Responsibilities

Fees and Payments

Deadlines
Timely completion of services depends on the prompt receipt of all required documentation. Rhodes Accounting LLC is not responsible for missed deadlines caused by delayed or incomplete client submissions.
Limitation of Liability
Rhodes Accounting LLC is not liable for penalties, interest, or damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Termination of Services
Either party may terminate services at any time. Outstanding balances remain due upon termination.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.
Payroll Services Disclaimer
Rhodes Accounting provides payroll processing and administrative support services based solely on the information provided by the client and/or third-party payroll software platforms. Rhodes Accounting does not provide legal advice, employment law services, HR consulting, or CPA-licensed attest services.
Clients remain solely responsible for:
The accuracy of employee and contractor information
Wage rates, hours worked, and classifications
Compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Timely review and approval of payroll prior to submission
Maintaining sufficient funds for payroll and tax withdrawals
Responding to notices from tax authorities
Rhodes Accounting relies on third-party payroll software providers for payroll processing and tax payment functionality and is not responsible for software errors, service interruptions, or processing delays caused by third-party systems.
While reasonable care is taken to assist with payroll administration, Rhodes Accounting is not liable for penalties, interest, or damages resulting from:
Inaccurate or incomplete client-provided information
Late approvals or missed deadlines
Government agency processing delays
Circumstances beyond reasonable control
Clients are encouraged to consult with a licensed CPA, attorney, or HR professional for legal, tax strategy, or employment law matters.
Consultation Terms & Acknowledgment
By scheduling a consultation with Rhodes Accounting LLC, you acknowledge and agree that:
• The consultation is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute tax, legal, or financial advice.
• No accountant-client relationship is created by scheduling or attending a consultation.
• A professional relationship is only established upon execution of a written engagement letter.

• You understand that no tax returns will be prepared, filed, or reviewed during the consultation unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
